Backup a Key

(Please be aware that every time you back up your key, the old one becomes invalid.  Only the newest backup key is valid.)

1.  Select the menu in the upper left corner.

2.  Choose Account Manager.

3.  Select View All.

4.  Under General, select Export Account.

5.  Select Having issues using your code?  Try other options.

6.  Choose Backup Location.

7.  Select Create backup.

8.  Select Cancel.  Congratulations!  You have successfully backed up your key.

Android

Backup a Key

(Please be aware that every time you back up your key, the old one becomes invalid.  Only the newest backup key is valid.)

1.  Select the menu in the upper left corner.

2.  Choose Account Manager.

3.  Under General, select Export Account.

4.  Select Click here if you're having problems generating your code.

5.  Choose Backup Location.

6.  Select Continue.

7.  Select Export.

(DO NOT check the box for "I have exported my key recovery data.")

8.  Choose your email provider.

(The images below may vary depending on your email provider.)

9.  Enter the email address of where you wish to store your backup key.

10.  Select the send icon.

11.  In the sndr application, check the check box.

12.  Select continue.

13.  With both the sndr application and the email account associated with it open on the same device, select the file in the email.  This will cause the file to validate with sndr.

14.  Once validation is complete, select Continue.

15.  Select Finish.  Congratulations!  You have successfully backed up your key.

Desktop

Backup a Key

(Please be aware that every time you back up your key, the old one becomes invalid.  Only the newest backup key is valid.)

1.  Click on Account Manager from the left side menu.

2.  Under General, click on Export Account.

3.  Click on Click here if you're having problems generating your code.

4.  Select Backup Location.

5.  Select Proceed.

6.  Navigate to the desired location and click on Save.  Congratulations!  You have successfully backed up your key.
